If you’ve been following this series from the beginning we started out asking a simple question, Is Your MLM a Pyramid in Disguise or so we thought.

The answer is no.

Although both are  close and close only counts in horseshoes:)  We know that a Pyramid scheme has no product or retail sales of any product. It’s only as successful as the number of people you can convince to buy into it. The pyramid sells you on the opportunity and a way to get-rich quick.

However, anyone involved in MLM for any length of time knows first hand that there is no get rich quick here From the movie Children of Invention we actually saw What a Pyramid Scheme looks like & How to Spot One From Miles Away.

Now I realize that Hollywood has to put their own spin on just about everything, but for the most part we saw  how easy it was to go from one to the other. It was interesting that the movie producer added a product to the storyline by including a catalog of products that were supposedly stored in a warehouse. Other than that the movie was pretty real to life. You really should take a look at Children of Invention  if you didn’t get a chance before. It was a real eye-opener in more ways than one.

There was one thing that was missing and it’s probably the worst mistake you don’t know you’re making!

As I already stated there is such a thin line between a MLM and a pyramid that I dare say at times it really is hard see. But when a MLM is presented the wrong way it looks like a pyramid and turns people off. You see when all your focus is on recruiting how is that solving anyone’s problems, so why should they even trust you?

Before you go giving your hard earned money away read the fine print and check the details. When in doubt, trust your gut to tell you when something is not quite right. I sometimes refer to it as my “first mind” and most of the time if I listen it’s never wrong.

The truth is, everything you need to know has already been revealed. It’s when you know something but you don’t’ know how you know. Another name for it is instict; trust it.

The Worst Mistake- Marketing Your MLM like a Pyramid?

So that when you do find the perfect MLM it will be in sync with who you are as a person. When you do, worst mistake that you can make is not building a relationship with a potential business partner or customer before talking to them about your business.

Your’e so excited about your new venture and eager to build your business and build a great team. You pitch everybody the business not really taking the time to find out if they’re interested in building a business or what their values are, or even if you are compatible as business partners.

There is a better way to market you MLM so that is doesn’t look like a pyramid scheme in disguise or leave a bad taste in your mouth. Finding out what that is will make all the difference in getting the results you desire.

Remember it’s not quantity but quality we want. Think about it, in your day to day activities there are people you meet or come in contact with that you know would be great to have as a part of your team, but for whatever reason they’re just not interested.

No thanks.  Words we’re all too familiar with right?

And then again on the other hand, you come across people who’re interested but don’t have the right attitude and the chemistry just isn’t there and you think, I don’t think this will work.

So it comes down to finding the right people who will compliment and enhance the vision of the TEAM= Together Everyone Achieves More- and when you think about it, isn’t that what we all want? To be a part of a winning team!
