I’m Vonita Brown, aka godsgo2girl. I’m a wife, mother, entrepreneur, radio show host, and resume expert. Yes, I wear a lot of hats, but who doesn’t? Especially most of the women I know. It’s part of who we are and what makes us great. Did I mention that I was also an ordained elder and minister? This means even when I’m not working, I’m always working or ministering. My friends call me when they’re looking for something specific and need some hands on help or assistance. That’s when it finally dawned on me one day; why not combine the ministry with marketing in the marketplace. Why not? We’re all works in progress and I’m no different.
I am the author, creator and CEO of MakeitHappen Marketing, a blog/website combing marketing and ministry in the marketplace. Time2PUSH- Pray Until Something Happens Prayerline Ministries, is a weekly online prayer group, and Biblenthehood blogtalkradio are used to exhort and encourage weary souls in marketing, ministry and the marketplace.
I live in Northern California in a small suburb about 25 miles east of San Francisco, CA. Some nice friends wrote great recommendations for me on LinkedIn.

I’m a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) in Workforce Development Department for the County where I’m live. I help people with their resume and job search. Part of that is helping people figure out what do do next. With the economy and all the changes that have taken place in the workforce over the last few years, I’m spending more and more of my time helping friends and family with their resume and job search. I don’t do this alone, but work with a very talented and extraordinary group of people who are good at what they do. The reward for us is seeing people who have been struggling looking for work, find a job which matches their skill sets and become gainfully employed.
How did I get involved in Network Marketing?
I enjoy connecting people with resources, events and other people . I’m passionate about network marketing and want to help people who are struggling in their business by helping them find the right tools to succeed. I got started in real network marketing back in the day with Amway. That was when I got bit by the Multi-level Marketing bug. I can name at least 5 other companies I joined after that. All with the hopes of making enough money to quit my day job, but it never happened.
